Friday, January 8: My first finish for 2010! I started this on December 21, using fabric that I bought for a Christmas project that never got started. It's being used as a cover for my kitchen table/desk-hence its long, narrow shape. I didn't photograph the backing, which is made from stash fabric, because it looks like a hot pink crucifix-oops!

Thursday, January 7: Jumping on the Blogwagon

After spending way too much time reading quilting blogs over the past year, I decided to join in the fun-not because my life is so fascinating (trust me, it's not) but because I've been so inspired by the work of others and hope to share some of my quilts. I also want to participate in Judy Laquidara's Stashbusting and Design Wall Mondays. I plan to post a couple of times a week, mostly about quilting, but occasionally about cooking, shopping or gardening (my other passions), and whatever else is on my scatterbrained mind.
